X-Factor (1986-1998) #41

"Golden Boy!" Part 1 of 2. Cameo by the New Mutants and introducing Alchemy. Story by Louise Simonson. Art by Arthur Adams and Al Milgrom. Cover by Walt Simonson. X-Factor arrives in London in search of a new mutant, but they aren't the only ones. It seems a pack of creatures of myth and legend also want this boy for their own avaricious ends. NOTE: This issue features the winner of the Mutant Registration Contest - the boy called Alchemy. This was a contest Marvel did in the late 1980s where the reader could send in their idea for a mutant and the winner would appear in a Marvel Comic.
