Overview
What happens when grace is misunderstood? When it becomes separated from the Kingdom Paul consistently paired it with, or distorted into something that costs nothing and transforms no one?

Gospel of God's Grace and His Kingdom begins where Paul himself left it: in his farewell address to the Ephesian elders in Acts 20. There he describes the gospel he received from Jesus using three phrases simultaneously: the gospel of God's grace, preaching the kingdom, and the whole will of God, and treats them as equivalent. Most Christian teaching separates these. This book asks why Paul equates them, and what that equivalence means for salvation, the new birth, and our destiny in God's Celestial Kingdom.

Three questions structure the inquiry: What is God's grace? How is grace connected to the Kingdom? How is the gospel of God's grace and of the Kingdom the whole will of God?

Along the way the book addresses the danger of false and misunderstood grace, traces Paul's own dramatic awakening to grace, examines the new birth and what the process entails, explores how the Holy Spirit works in our lives, and opens into what it means to develop a living relationship with the Father, Jesus, and the Spirit.

132 pages. Accessible rather than academic. Grounded in Scripture, personal insight, and decades of careful reflection.

For readers of N.T. Wright, Dallas Willard, and Scot McKnight who take both grace and the Kingdom seriously as living theological categories.
