Women: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

This is second in the series of primers being published for further deliberation by the scholars engaged in the Vimarsha work. Hope this initiates vibrant thoughts to conduct more deeper study into the subject of Bharatiya womanhood and its role in the destiny. In no way the book is complete or comprehensive. It only explains the essentials on this topic of importance on the prevalent narratives and the real issues need to be promoted. It is expected to provide an intellectual support to the researchers working in the field of women studies and Bharatiya feminism. This primer is a guiding framework for deeper and extensive research, content generation and countering the anti-national popular perceptions. The author of the book is well known thinker, activist and mentor. She exemplifies the feminine leadership in the field of socio-spiritual education and community work. The book is result of a quarter century long learning, brainstorming and theorising of eternal Bharatiya wisdom. Publication involves the painful exercise of editing, meticulous proofreading and multiple reviews. We are grateful to Ku. Shambhavi Khanwalkar for time and labour put in all this. The cover design and flawless printing is also appreciated with mention at proper places. Candid feedback, doubts, questions and genuine objections are most welcome.
