The Murder at Warbeck Hall

A short radio play by noted English mystery author, Cyril Hare. It was first broadcast on the BBC in early 1948, but only published in 2020 long after his death in 1958.

Lord Warbeck is in poor health; his doctor told him that he wouldn't live to Christmas. Miraculously, he's made it and wants to gather around him his closest family one more time at Warbeck Hall. In attendance, there's his son and heir, his nephew who serves as the Chancellor of the Exchequer in Parliament, his step-niece who he's trying to convince his son to marry, another MP, and his butler and the butler's daughter.

Then something terrible happens.
